Trend towards more neutral Christmas decor

Saturday, December 8, 2012
It seems that neutral Christmas decor is a big trend right now.  I am incorporating this trend around my own home as well as in Ella May Designs booth.

This is the table in my entry hall.  I added live poinsettias in an antique tool caddy...festive yet understated.

These moss Christmas tree topiaries in aged terracotta pots with burlap ribbon are perfect for mantles or dining tables.  They are sitting on a table runner made from red ticking.  All available in Ella May Designs booth at Sheffield's Antique Mall (Aisle H) in Collierville, Tennessee.

Booth Update: December 2012

Here is what its looking like around the booth this month...we have vintage Christmas mixed with new Christmas items.  We have furniture pieces and new art in the booth as well.  In January, I am heading back to market to hunt for new antique pieces as well as some reproduction pieces so send me your wish list if you need me to look for anything in particular!

Ruffled Linen Tree Skirts

 SOLD
A vintage dresser that I repainted and almost kept for myself.  I was dying to put this in my playroom with the TV on it flanked by lamps.  I love how the orginal hardware polished right up to show the beautiful brass.
$300
Original Artwork (24" x 48") of Cotton Field

$350
Vintage Mink Swing Coat
You need this for the holidays and the frosty months of January and February.  The length is perfect to wear with dress or throw on with jeans.

$400
I have a piece similar to this in my family room.  The TV sits on it with preserved boxwoods on either side.  I have a grouping of plates on the wall behind it.

Happy Holidays!!
